My name is Cristina, a nomadic spirit from Transylvania & the creative mind behind Druantia Goddess Adornments.
I started experimenting with creating macrame jewelry about 5 years ago and instantly fell in love with this form of expression. It is more then a technic for me, it is a way of transforming my inner world into reality and infusing it with my feelings and my dreams.
This project is more than a jewelry line, it's a spiritual connection to the ancient, mystical forces of the natural world.
The Concept
Druantia Goddess Adornments draws its essence from Druantia, the Queen of the Druids, an ancient Gallic tree goddess. Revered as the eternal mother of all living creatures, Druantia represents the cyclical powers of fertility, passion, and sexuality. She nurtures the delicate balance between life, nature, and the mystical forces of the plant kingdom.
Her name is believed to derive from the Celtic word for "oak tree" (drus or deru).
All of my creations embody the profound, intertwined relationship between humanity and the natural world that surrounds us. Every piece is a sacred tribute to the union of roots and branches (expressed through the technic of macrame) and stands as a symbol for the interconnectedness of life and the nurturing energy of the goddess.
